WA: Gypsy Joker president in court on cocaine charges

PERTH, Dec 12 AAP - The national head of the Gypsy Jokers bikie gang appeared in a
Perth court today charged after a police raid on his rural property allegedly netted $3
million in cocaine and amphetamines.

Police charged Lennard (Lennard) Mark Kirby with possession of cocaine and amphetamines
following a raid last Friday on his property at Oakford, 40km south-east of Perth.

The 40-year-old appeared in Perth magistrates court today via videolink from Canning
Vale prison on the cocaine charge.

Today's court appearance came after he faced the court on Saturday in relation to the
amphetamine charge.

Kirby was remanded in custody to reappear in the court on both charges on December 20.
